Emily Lunt
Emily (she/her) is a counseling intern. She takes a collaborative approach, working as a caring, compassionate ally and an active, engaged counselor to support those feeling disconnected, stuck, and/or overwhelmed. She offers a supportive, steady space to build awareness of your body and nervous system, connect with your inner wisdom, and explore how you want to live in alignment with what matters most to you. Emily works with all ages, including children, teens, adults, and couples. Emily incorporating parts work (IFS), somatic (body) work, self-compassion, values work, mindfulness, and attachment theory.
Emily’s graduate training is through the Clinical Mental Health Counseling track at Northwest Nazarene University. She has received training in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Sandtray Therapy, and mindfulness. She holds an undergraduate degree in Visual Communication Design from Arizona State University.
In her personal life, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, hiking, camping, photography, listening to podcasts, and reading.
Emily works with clients at the Meridian and Boise locations.
