Kyrstin Searle

Kyrstin (pronounced Keer-stin) (she/her) is a graduate student counselor studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University, working toward LPC licensure. Her training includes an emphasis in trauma, grief, and crisis, which informs her work with identity, relationships, and sexual wellbeing.

Kyrstin has a particular focus on working with individuals and couples navigating concerns related to shame, sexuality, intimacy, and relationships. She is especially interested in supporting clients experiencing sexual pain, challenges related to desire and pornography use, communication, and early relationship dynamics. She also enjoys working with clients processing religious trauma, faith transitions, and identity reconstruction after leaving or redefining their spiritual beliefs.

Her approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. Drawing on attachment-based and parts-oriented approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), she helps clients cultivate self-compassion, deepen their self-understanding, and build more meaningful, connected relationships.

Outside of the counseling room, Kyrstin enjoys thrifting and is on a mission to learn every art and craft possible. She also loves spending time with her two cats.

Kyrstin works with clients at the Meridian and Boise locations.
